Stef Meyer is a French-American film director and artist whose work in film explores dreamy and nightmarish worlds. She started in visual arts and experimental cinema before moving into music videos and narrative short films. Her 2022 short film Mantra, starring Maud Wyler and Raphaël Quenard, received numerous awards and selections at international film festivals, including Gérardmer Film Festival, Tampere, Toronto After Dark, FEFFS, Rhode Island, and Haapsalu. Stef also directed Even the Moon Will Bleed, starring Christophe Montenez and Alyzée Costes, co-written and co-directed with Rémy Barbe. The film was selected at SITGES and won BEST SHORT at FEFFS. She wrote and just finished directing Biocide, an agricultural horror tale produced by Balade Sauvage Productions and France TV, that is now currently in post-production.
