Stef Meyer is a French-American director whose work draws inspiration from genre cinema, visual arts, and experimental film. She began her career in visual arts before moving into music videos and narrative short films. Her 2023 short film Mantra, starring Maud Wyler and Raphaël Quenard, received numerous awards and selections at international festivals, including Gérardmer, Tampere, Toronto After Dark, FEFFS, Rhode Island, and Haapsalu. Stef has just completed a new short film, Even the Moon Will Bleed, starring Christophe Montenez and Alyzée Costes, co-directed with Rémy Barbe. She is also preparing Biocide, an agricultural horror short produced by Balade Sauvage Production and France TV, while developing several feature-length projects.
